JEMBER – Polres Jember menangkap 4 tersangka pencurian kendaraan bermotor (Curanmor) dalam Operasi Ketupat Semeru 2024.
Tersangka pertama berinisial AH (usia 53 tahun), Warga Dusun Jatisari, Desa Tisnogambar, Kecamatan Bangsalsari.
Kemudian JN (usia 47 tahun), warga Lingkungan Sumber Salak, Kelurahan Kranjingan, Kecamatan Sumbersari.
Keduanya merupakan residivis yang telah beraksi di 21 TKP.
“Dari tangan tersangka, kita mengamankan 18 motor barang bukti yang diduga hasil curian,” ucap Kapolres Jember, AKBP Bayu Pratama Gubunagi, Rabu (17/4/2024).
Selain AH dan JN, Polisi juga menangkap dua tersangka lainnya yang terlibat dalam tindak kejahatan ini.
Masing-masing berinisial HR (usia 44 tahun), warga Dusun Tegalan, Desa Slateng, Kecamatan Ledokombo.
HR bertindak sebagai penadah dalam kasus Curanmor ini.
Tersangka berikutnya yakni IM (usia 45 tahun), warga Dusun Krajan II, Desa Glagahwero, Kecamatan Kalisat.
Dia merupakan tersangka yang memberikan kesempatan dan sarana dalam melakukan pencurian sekaligus penadah motor hasil curian.
“Untuk AH dan JN sangkaan Pasal 363 Ayat 2 KUHP dan Pasal 363 Ayat 1 ke 4 juncto Pasal 65 KUHP, dengan ancaman hukuman maksimal 12 tahun,” ungkap Kapolres.
Adapun tersangka HR terjerat Pasal 480 ke 1 KUHP dengan ancaman hukuman maksimal 4 tahun penjara.
Terakhir tersangka IM terjerat Pasal 363 KUHP dan 363 Ayat 1 ke 4 KUHP juncto Pasal 56 Ayat 2 KUHP dan Pasal 480 ke 1, 2 KUHP.
“Ancaman penjara IM maksimal 4 tahun,” pungkas AKBP Bayu Pratama Gubunagi.
