JEMBER – Dewan Pimpinan Cabang (DPC) PDI Perjuangan Kabupaten Jember telah membuka pendaftaran bakal calon bupati dan calon wakil bupati (Cabup – Cawabup) di wilayah setempat pada kontestasi Pilkada 2024.
Pendaftaran tersebut merupakan tindak lanjut dari instruksi DPP PDI Perjuangan dengan Nomor 6027/IN/DPP/III/2024 tertanggal 28 Maret 2024 perihal instruksi pemetaan politik dan penjaringan bakal calon kepala daerah serentak tahun 2024.
Penjaringan ini bersifat terbuka yang artinya bisa diikuti oleh siapapun, baik untuk anggota, kader, struktur internal PDI Perjuangan, maupun Warga Negara Indonesia (WNI) di luar anggota PDI Perjuangan yang memiliki visi misi yang sama dan sejalan dengan PDI Perjuangan.
Berdasarkan hasil rapat DPC PDI Perjuangan Kabupaten Jember yang dilaksanakan pada Senin, 15 April 2024, DPC PDI Perjuangan telah membentuk Tim Penjaringan bakal Cabup – Cawabup Jember Tahun 2024 yang diketuai oleh Edi Cahyo Purnomo.
Tim tersebutlah yang nanti akan menangani pendaftaran, pengembalian berkas, serta verifikasi dan validasi dokumen untuk para putra-putri terbaik bangsa yang akan mendaftar sebagai bakal Cabup – Cawabup Jember dari PDI Perjuangan.
Penjaringan bakal Cabup – Cawabup Jember akan dibuka pada Senin, 22 April 2024, sampai 06 Mei 2024.
Pendaftar bisa mengambil formulir pada pukul 10.00 – 16.00 WIB, di sekretariat Kantor DPC PDI Perjuangan Jember, Jalan Supriyadi, Nomor 54, Baratan – Jember.
Pendaftar bakal Cabup – Cawabup bisa mengambil sendiri ke sekretariat DPC PDI Perjuangan Jember ataupun diwakilkan.
Saat pendaftaran bakal calon, Tim Penjaringan akan menyerahkan beberapa formulir yang harus diisi oleh bakal calon yang mengikuti proses penjaringan di PDI Perjuangan, termasuk rekam jejak bakal calon dalam melakukan pembelaan kepada rakyat selama ini.
Begitu juga dengan visi misi bakal calon serta harus bersedia mengikuti seluruh tahapan penjaringan dan penyaringan, yang kemudian formulir tersebut akan dikembalikan pada tanggal 7 Mei — 16 Mei 2024.
Khusus pada pengembalian formulir ini, bakal Cabup – Cawabup harus menyerahkan sendiri ke sekretariat DPC PDI Perjuangan Jember.
Berkas bakal Cabup – Cawabup yang sudah diserahkan, selanjutnya akan diverifikasi dan divalidasi sebagaimana ketentuan Undang-Undang, serta akan diserahkan ke DPD dan DPP Partai untuk disaring, dan kemudian bakal calon akan mengikuti fit and proper test.
Proses verifikasi dan validasi ini sebagai upaya untuk mendapatkan bakal calon yang tidak ‘bermasalah’ secara Undang-Undang.
Selaras dengan Ideologi Partai, Ketua DPC PDI Perjuangan Kabupaten Jember, Arif Wibowo, yang juga sekaligus Wasekjen DPP Partai telah mengimbau dan menekankan bahwa proses penjaringan ini ‘Tanpa Mahar’.
“Hal tersebut diharapkan memberikan kesempatan yang sama kepada Putra-Putri terbaik untuk mengabdikan diri sebagai pemimpin Jember,” ucap Arif Wibowo.
Selain itu, kata Arif, PDI Perjuangan juga menunjukan ketegasan dalam sikap ideologi dan politiknya.
“Selain kuatnya keberpihakan kepada rakyat miskin, setiap bakal calon juga dipastikan untuk tidak pernah dan/atau sedang menjadi atau terlibat sebagai anggota dan/atau pengurus HTI, FPI serta organisasi sejenis lainnya,” pungkas Arif Wibowo.
