Selama H-10 Hingga H+10 Lebaran, KAI Sukses Layani 4,39 Juta Penumpang

Masa angkutan Lebaran yang PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) tetapkan selama 22 hari sejak H-10 (31 Maret) s.d H+10 (21 April) telah berakhir.

Pada periode tersebut, KAI telah melayani 4.398.125 penumpang, dengan rincian 3.748.886 penumpang KA Jarak Jauh dan 649.239 penumpang KA Lokal.

Pada angkutan Lebaran 2024 ini, kereta kelas ekonomi menjadi favorit masyarakat dengan jumlah penumpang sebanyak 3.166.650 orang.
Disusul kelas eksekutif sebanyak 1.044.050 penumpang, kelas bisnis sebanyak 172.911 penumpang, kelas luxury sebanyak 12.941 penumpang, dan compartment suite sebanyak 1.573 penumpang.

Jumlah penumpang pada masa angkutan Lebaran 2024 selama 22 hari ini meningkat 14% dibanding angkutan Lebaran 2023 sebanyak 3.841.954 penumpang.

Adapun okupansi penumpang pada masa angkutan Lebaran 2024 mencapai 104% dari total tempat duduk yang disediakan sebanyak 4.222.058 tempat duduk.

Khusus untuk KA Jarak Jauh okupansinya mencapai 114% dimana tempat duduk yang disediakan sebanyak 3.283.204 tempat duduk.

Tiket yang terjual melebihi kuota tempat duduk karena adanya penumpang dinamis yakni terdapat penumpang yang naik di stasiun antara.

Contohnya, jika KA relasi Jakarta – Surabaya itu dihitung 1 tiket. Pada kenyataannya ada penumpang yang turun dan naik di stasiun antara stasiun awal dengan stasiun tujuan.

Misalnya KA relasi Jakarta – Surabaya, ada penumpang dari Jakarta turun di Cirebon.

Lalu kemudian ada penumpang yang dari Cirebon naik dan turun di Semarang.

Kemudian ada penumpang yang naik dari Semarang dan turun di Surabaya. Sehingga yang diprogram relasi Jakarta – Surabaya 1 tiket. Pada kenyataannya bisa jadi 3 tiket.

VP Public Relations KAI Joni Martinus mengatakan, rute favorit pelanggan yaitu Jakarta – Surabaya pp, Jakarta – Malang pp, Jakarta – Yogyakarta pp, Jakarta – Purwokerto pp, Jakarta – Semarang pp, Bandung – Surabaya pp, dan lainnya.

“Kami mengucapkan apresiasi kepada internal dan eksternal seperti DJKA Kemenhub, Kementerian BUMN, TNI, Polri, KNKT, Dinas Penanggulangan Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan, komunitas-komunitas seperti Railfans dan Pramuka, serta semua pihak yang memungkinkan Angkutan Lebaran 2024 KAI dapat terlaksana dengan baik. Hal ini memberikan motivasi bagi KAI untuk senantiasa memberikan pelayanan yang prima kepada seluruh masyarakat,” kata Joni.

Usai angkutan Lebaran ini, KAI dan anak-anak usaha akan konsisten memberikan pelayanan terbaru serta pengalaman baru, baik untuk kereta api, Whoosh, commuterline, LRT, dan lain-lain. Sehingga growth mindset tercipta di seluruh jajaran KAI Group.

“KAI akan terus meningkatkan fasilitas untuk penumpang baik di kereta api ataupun di stasiun-stasiun. Kami optimis KAI akan terus tumbuh membangun ekosistem transportasi dengan inovasi dan kreativitas yang tidak ada hentinya. Sehingga mampu mewujudkan motto dengan semangat bersatu, menuju KAI baru, untuk Indonesia maju,” tutup Joni.
